Monthly Enviro Escapade:
What would happen if you... biked to work/used a handkerchief/wrote a letter to your member of parliment...?

At some point during my years of environmental activity I realized...
...that most of the people I know, myself included, are looking for ways to be environmentally friendly that don't require us to install solar panelling all over our roof, wear only undyed organic cotton clothing, carry crinkled up plastic bags around in our pockets or use composting toilets. Having realized that, I decided to devote my energy to finding ways for us to live sustainably while still feeling sane, happy, competent and in-sync with the world around us.
If that sounds appealing, then this website's for you. Welcome to real green living!

But it is possible to be a sustainable apartment dweller. In fact, in some respects, apartment dwelling is by default more sustainable. more...
